American Chillers and Cooling Tower Systems got its start in the 1980’s when dry cleaning was in its growth phase. The founder was servicing machines and was asked to develop a chiller with the service technician in mind. One niche cooling application grew to others as refrigeration and HVAC contractors liked our chillers and recommended them for other projects and applications. 

Years later, hundreds of applications, tens of thousands of projects, thousands of chillers built, a change of name and ownership, yet we still make chillers that are not only engineered for optimal efficiency for each application, but also that can be serviced quickly with parts available locally. A little extra thought and engineering during design and production results in less downtime and lower maintenance and repair costs for our customers. Less down time equals more revenue.

Today, we specialize in engineering and building chillers for niche process cooling applications such as Cold Plunge and Ice Bath Therapy, Equine (horse) Therapy, Craft Breweries, Wineries, Bakery Water Cooling, MRI & Linear Accelerator Cooling, Plastics, Recycling, Fabric Rollers, Plastics Injection Molding, Extruder Cooling, Ice Cream & Yogurt Machines, Environmental Test Chamber Cooling, Niche Air-conditioning, Dry Cleaning & Still Cooling and many others. 

Chiller Sizes are generally approximately 1-ton to 100-tons in package, modular and split designs. We make air-cooled chillers and water-cooled chillers. 

We pair the best available condensers, compressors, evaporators (heat exchangers) and expansion valves to give the optimal performance and quality for each specific application.
