American National Manufacturing Inc. has been a leading manufacturer of sleeping surfaces in both the consumer and medical fields for more than 30 years. The company also has a strong OEM business, manufacturing a wide variety of products that require precision sewing or RF welding. 

American National started out in the early 70's in a small building in Orange, California with just a couple of machines and a desire to create the best sleep surfaces available. 

An early area of expertise was waterbed mattresses and soft-side sleep systems. Eventually, American National produced the first number bed air mattress in 1988 and has been inventing, re-inventing and improving on the concept ever since.

With innovative ideas and concepts, the company has quickly become a leader not only in the consumer market but also in the medical industry. American National makes high quality therapeutic support surfaces that manage a number of patient issues. Pulmonary issues are addressed with a pulsating mattress. Wounds, flaps and grafts, and pressure injuries are treated with low-air-loss immersion mattress therapy. No other U.S. manufacturer makes the depth and variety of support surfaces for the medical market than American National.
