Founded in 1966 as the American Society of Pension Actuaries (ASPPA), the American Retirement Association (ARA) is a non-profit professional organization that has a long and storied reputation of educating retirement plan professionals and creating a framework of policy that gives every working American the ability to have a comfortable retirement.
