America’s Future Workforce is a local 501(c)3 nonprofit organization providing economic opportunity to underserved individuals with three programmatic initiatives targeting:

1. disconnected and underserved youth between the ages of 16 and 24 who live in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area;
2. high school, college and graduate students who need better education-to-employment pathways; and 
3. international talent for high demand occupations in America. 


Each America’s Future Workforce Fellow undergoes training, coaching, and placement into an internship opportunity congruent with their skill-sets and passions. The organization provides a stipend to defray the cost of living and transportation costs the fellow might inure.

The programmatic outcomes allow for these workforce newcomers to bolster their short- and long-term job prospects by decreasing absenteeism, boosting student achievement as well as graduation rates, forging at least seven professional contacts, completing assigned projects which can be displayed on a resume, and securing gainful employment weeks after program completion.
