Apama Medical is a privately held medical device company formed by Shifamed LLC, a Silicon Valley based medical device incubator. We were founded to provide innovative solutions that address unmet clinical needs in the underpenetrated and rapidly growing atrial fibrillation (AF) market.

Our system improves procedural efficiency via a multipoint, single shot design that allows for reduced procedure times and more versatile ablation capabilities. As a result, our technology can address various types of AF patients through its ability to create customizable ablation geometries. 

In addition, our ablation catheter has built-in cameras that provide optimal feedback on ablation quality via real-time visualization, and has incorporated irrigation to ensure patient safety. Our catheter also integrates mapping and pacing to streamline the procedure and to reduce additional procedure costs.
