APICS - The Association for Operations Management is the premier source of the body of knowledge in Operations Management, including Manufacturing/Production, Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Purchasing, Logistics, and Lean Manufacturing/Lean Enterprise. Since 1957, individuals and companies have relied on APICS for its superior training, certifications, and a worldwide network of accomplished industry professionals. 

Since 1976, the Albany/Capital District Chapter has been serving the region, sponsoring monthly professional development meetings, featuring guest speakers and company tours. Additionally, the Chapter provides training for two internationally recognized certifications (CPIM - Certified in Production and Inventory Management, CSCP – Certified Supply Chain Professional) and the APICS body of knowledge.
