Original de Madrid, APODEMIA presenta novedades todos los meses de la mano de su equipo creativo, liderado por Jimena Von Knobloch, cofundadora y directora creativa. 
APODEMIA surgió de la propia iniciativa de Jimena que, pese a haber estudiado Publicidad y RRPP, siempre se mostró muy interesada en el diseño. Desde pequeña, observaba como su madre, diseñadora de interiores, y su padre, escultor, potenciaban una creatividad que iba en aumento. Su primera pieza consistió en un tocado realizado con retales de algunas de las telas que empleaba su madre, que completó con el material de escultura de su padre. Esta primera pieza inspirada en una mariposa le animó a continuar, participando en diversas iniciativas, entre ellas EGO Cibeles, la pasarela para jóvenes diseñadores.
