Applied Invention is a multidisciplinary innovation company that designs, builds, and develops technology solutions in partnership with leading companies and entrepreneurs. We are an interdisciplinary group of engineers, scientists, and artists with skills in mathematics, physics, biology, electronics, mechanics, systems engineering, software development, and industrial design. Our projects range from computer vision, database software, data analytics, and high performance computing to biotechnology, medical devices, robotics, and generally complex systems.

In 2014, Applied Invention was spun-off from Applied Minds, where the team started new companies including Applied Proteomics, Metaweb Technologies (acquired by Google), and TouchShare and developed       technology solutions with partners such as Northrop Grumman, Herman Miller, Sun Microsystems, General Motors, and Intel. Applied Invention continues to advise and collaborate with leading entrepreneurs to create new technology solutions and companies.
