In 2014, Applied Invention was spun-off from Applied Minds, where the team started new companies including Applied Proteomics, Metaweb Technologies (acquired by Google), and TouchShare and developed technology solutions with partners such as Northrop Grumman, Herman Miller, Sun Microsystems, General Motors, and Intel.
