Our Heating Energy Assessment Tool (HEAT) is a residential energy efficiency rating web based app that uses real world energy consumption to accurately measure and rate the operational performance and energy costs of existing homes. Two efficiency ratings give a performance baseline: the AREVS Normalized Energy Load (based on actual fuel/energy usage) and the easy to understand A through F HEAT Grade. HEAT gives homeowners and professionals a fast, accurate, affordable tool for assessing home energy performance…..and verification of energy savings achieved through conservation measures performed. Using data from a single utility bill from during the heating season, HEAT by AREVS quickly and accurately projects annual heating energy consumption down to the BTU, including costs for heating, domestic hot water, and air conditioning. No site visits are necessary. No specialized equipment or training are required.
