Argus Farm Stop is a farmers market with a mission to grow Ann Arbor’s local food ecosystem. We provide a year-round venue for consumers to buy direct from local producers. Shoppers can find vegetables, fruit, meats, baked goods, dairy, and artisan foods. Argus Farm Stop operates as an L3C organization working to improve small farm viability and increase community access to local food. We believe locally-farmed food should be more accessible to all in the community. Products are sold on consignment by the producer (no brokers or intermediaries allowed) so customers know where their food comes from. The market operates year-round, encouraging producers to find ways to extend the growing season. Argus provides local producers with a new and different way to sell their products, allowing them to sustain and expand their businesses. Argus Farm Stop opened its doors in August 2014.
