The Arizona Blockchain Initiative is a Tech-Ed Nonprofit focused on the social impact of decentralized technology, empowering communities by delivering access to knowledge and opportunities.

Why AZBI?
Blockchain and decentralized technologies are emerging everywhere, big businesses like IBM and Microsoft -among many others, have already allocated resources to invest in new technologies, and many startups are gaining traction. AZBI will drive the conversation by educating the general small business ecosystem, thus fostering an ease of technology adoption.

CONNECTING | SUPPORTING | ADVANCING

Connecting. 
Promote the adoption of Blockchain applications by small businesses in Arizona. Arizona houses over 3,000 small businesses, with a myriad of opportunities for the growth of tech startups. AZBI will work closely with small businesses to identify needs where new applications can be developed. Connect with organizations that support tech startups in the Americas, and those microfinancing small businesses in the developing world. AZBI is actively looking to engage others globally, to share best adoption practices.

Supporting. 
Sponsor the engagement of student organizations, by connecting students with industry professionals. AZBI will 
introduce a scholarship program to benefit students of blockchain careers.

Advancing. 
Support the advancement of Blockchain startups through educational meetings with local political figures. AZBI aims to educate elected officials -and candidates- at the local and State levels, to create a conversation which will lead to the support of new blockchain businesses in Arizona. If the State creates the right environment, by enacting regulations and legislation, Arizona may become one of the leading Blockchain States in North America.
