Artemide North America operates as the U.S. arm of Artemide, a global contemporary lighting company founded in Milan in 1959. The group provides a broad range of residential and contract lighting, spanning decorative, outdoor, and architectural applications, with energy-efficient and LED options. Its design philosophy centers on human well-being, coupling aesthetic appeal with comfort and aligning with a Made in Italy design tradition. The North American presence is based in Hicksville, New York, reflecting the region’s role in serving North American markets after the brand’s first North American branch opened in Manhattan in 1980.

The products target both home and contract projects, serving designers, specifiers, and other buyers seeking high-quality, durable lighting solutions. Artemide operates within the appliances, electrical, and electronics manufacturing space and maintains a global network of production centers in Italy, France, the United States, Hungary, and the Czech Republic; in 2023, Artemide Inc. launched Turn Around, a new lighting solution.
