Arthur Morgan School (AMS) is a progressive boarding and day school for 27 girls and boys in grades 7, 8 and 9. AMS is located on 100 acres of farm and wilderness in the Celo Community, about an hour north of Asheville, North Carolina. Since 1962, the AMS program has focused on the holistic education of adolescents, with roots in Quaker values and Montessori philosophy. For young people at the middle level of education, AMS is a healthy, creative, joyful place for adolescents to make the transition from childhood to adulthood.
