Asia e University (AeU) is a Malaysia-based collaborative multinational university focused on e-learning, initiated by the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD). It is supported by 35 ACD member countries, a status affirmed at ACD ministerial meetings in Islamabad (2005) and Doha (2006). AeU partners with higher education institutions and training centres across ACD member countries to offer affordable, accessible academic and professional programs. The university acts as a facilitator for mutual accreditation and recognition of degrees and programs among Asian IHLs and enables sharing of resources and offerings. Based in Malaysia with 201-500 employees, AeU has engaged in partnerships such as a 2025 collaboration with the Commonwealth of Learning and a 2020 Digital Tech Micro-credentials Program with iTrain Asia.
