Asians for Miracle Marrow Matches’ (A3M) mission is to improve the health and welfare of patients with leukemia and other blood cancers by educating and recruiting potential donors into the National Registry and providing patient support services. For many of our patients with blood cancers, a blood stem cell or marrow transplant is their last hope and only treatment option. Over the past 26 years, A3M has recruited over 270,000 donors and over 650 have moved forward to donate their marrow and blood stem cells to save a life. A3M’s primary focus is to recruit potential donors from minority communities, as these communities have low donor recruitment rates and donor-patient matches are ethnically specific. According to the National Marrow Donor Program, Asians make up a staggering 6% and Latino make up 8% of the National donor registry.

A3M is based in Little Tokyo and conduct outreach activities all over Southern California.
