Gift of Life Marrow Registry is a nonprofit focused on facilitating blood stem cell and marrow transplants for people with life-threatening diseases, including leukemia, lymphoma, sickle cell disease, and other genetic disorders. It functions as a leading bone marrow and stem cell registry at a national level and serves patients worldwide seeking donors for transplantation. The organization emerged from grassroots efforts to save New Jersey leukemia patient Jay Feinberg and has evolved into a global donor registry. Based in Boca Raton, Florida, Gift of Life maintains affiliations with major donor networks, being accredited by the World Marrow Donor Association and serving as an affiliate of the National Marrow Donor Program, while participating in Bone Marrow Donors Worldwide. It has expanded its capabilities with an in-house apheresis center in 2019 and a cellular therapy laboratory in 2020, and it maintains a large pool of volunteer donors, numbering over 550,000.
