ASK Family Services is a Kalamazoo-based nonprofit organization operating in the mental health care field and organized as a 501(c)(3). Family Support Partners draw on their lived experience as parents of children facing mental health challenges to connect with families and help them navigate care. Youth Peer Support Specialists bring personal experience as young people who have faced mental health challenges and are trained to support their peers. ASK's Calling All Youth M.O.V.E. committee gathers high school students with emotional or behavioral concerns to reduce stigma, influence Kalamazoo service providers, and develop leadership and life skills.
