Founded January 1, 2012, Aspire Inc. is dedicated to promoting, educating, and supporting all acts of philanthropy for all people. Traditionally defined as “the desire to promote the welfare of others, expressed especially by the generous donation of money to good causes," Aspire, Inc. seeks to make philanthropy and philanthropic actions more accessible and more recognized for and by all individuals. The key, we believe, is in the misconception that philanthropy should be an act of generosity, which implies that one must have or give an abundance of a gift in order for it to have a philanthropic impact. Charitable gifts, which come in a variety of shapes and sizes, are all philanthropic: Whether it be an individual donation of one dollar through our website, or a corporate gift of thousands or more, we see both of these as philanthropic, and deserving of similar recognition. We also believe in a distinct commitment not only to the philanthropic process, just as important is the empowerment of all people to participate in the act of civic engagement within their communities. This incorporates participation in the act of volunteering, participating in the civic arena, or supporting those who wish to have an impact in their communities to make them better.
