When local care is unavailable or insufficient, it arranges transportation to the nearest facility meeting its standards, including air ambulance arrangements if necessary. The service is aimed at employers and insured groups that sponsor employee benefits, along with their dependents, to provide support during medical travel emergencies. In December 2025, reports indicated that International Medical Group acquired Assist America.
