The Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) is a voluntary alliance of local, state, and federal agencies, bringing together regulatory officials and industry participants involved in animal and pet feeds. It seeks to safeguard the feed supply through coordinated, system-based regulation, with standards for feed ingredients, labeling, and laboratory practices. It is based in Champaign, Illinois, as a small nonprofit.
