The Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations (AAPCHO) is a national body that represents health centers serving Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders, along with the community-based organizations that operate them. It collaborates with members and partners to provide programs that promote advocacy, collaboration, and leadership to improve health outcomes for these communities. The organization concentrates its efforts in advocacy, research and data, and capacity building to help ensure access to affordable, high-quality, culturally and linguistically responsive care. Based in Berkeley, California, AAPCHO operates within the hospitals and health care sector and maintains a relatively small staff. In October 2020, Jen Lee, MPH, was appointed deputy director to bolster the organization's infrastructure and responsiveness to growing demand for its programs and advocacy.
