Astrix Security, based in New York, operates in the computer and network security field with a focus on non-human identities within enterprise environments. Modern operations rely on numerous machine-to-machine connections, including autonomous AI agents, service accounts, and API keys that carry broad privileges and often bypass IAM review cycles. The company aims to close this governance gap by offering continuous discovery, risk-based prioritization, real-time threat detection, and automated remediation, with a customer base that includes Fortune 1,000 firms such as Workday, NetApp, Priceline, Hubspot, Figma, and Agoda. Based in New York, Astrix operates in the computer and network security sector serving large organizations that rely on AI-driven automation and agent-based workflows. In March 2026 it announced an expansion of its platform to include shadow AI agent discovery and a policy-driven control mechanism, a development highlighted at RSAC 2026. The company addresses security risks associated with agent-based systems beyond traditional human-focused IAM.
