Athena Alliance, based in San Francisco, California, operates as a think-tank–style community dedicated to advancing women into top leadership and governance roles across corporate, investment, entrepreneurial, and thought-leadership spheres. The organization combines a broad network, curated content, and coaching to help members pursue ambitious goals and broaden their impact. Since its founding, it has built a network of more than 3,000 C-level women, VCs, and CEOs across industries and facilitated thousands of connections to investment firms, CEOs, and boards. In 2023, it launched a Board Readiness course as part of expanding its educational offerings and announced an Executive Leadership Course for the fall. Athena Academy, launched in 2022, provides customized career and coaching programs.
