About Athens At Athens, handshakes count and hard work matters. We opened our doors in 1952. In 1968, Donald Jenkins, Jr. and Bud Chamberlain purchased the company. Together, these two entrepreneurs built one of the largest privately-owned distributors in the Southeast, growing from one office in Nashville to twelve locations serving sixteen states. As an authorized dealer for HP latex role printers and Scitex flat-bed UV printers, our Wide Format Division provides equipment, supplies and technical support.
