The Atlanta Film Society (ATLFS) is a mid-sized nonprofit based in Atlanta, Georgia, dedicated to promoting film and educating audiences about its art. Its flagship activity is the Atlanta Film Festival (ATLFF), an Academy Award-qualifying event that brings together a broad slate of cinema and industry programming each spring. The festival typically screens more than 200 films to thousands of attendees and attracts submissions from 120 countries worldwide, with opportunities for in-person conversations with filmmakers. Beyond the festival, ATLFS conducts year-round screenings, classes, workshops, and other events that support artists and enrich the community through the moving image. In March 2026, the organization's executive director was recognized by the Georgia Production Partnership during their Trailblazer Luncheon at Georgia Film Week.
