Atomic Mole (AM) is building a state-of-the-art Advanced Security Solution aimed at the medium Enterprise market.  The AM solution detects what firewalls and anti-viruses cannot by using advanced behavior analytics and machine learning, simply by observing network traffic at the perimeter of the organization.  As you know, cyber threat has evolved tremendously over the last few years and with the type of hackers that are out there, it is very easy for them to breach an organization and gain a foothold into systems for weeks and months on end.  Insider threat is another problem that most organizations don't have much visibility into.

The AM solution involves deploying a small form-factor appliance (we call it a Mole :), just inside the firewall, and the Mole monitors all traffic going to/from the firewall passively.  Within a matter of hours, the AM solution has the ability to provide unparalleled visibility into potential threats, both internal and external..  The Mole extracts metadata from network sessions and sends it to the AM cloud analytics platform for analysis.  This Metadata is saved for an extended period of time and enables detection of threats over time.
