Audubon Metals LLC is a Henderson, Kentucky-based manufacturing company owned by an affiliate of Koch Enterprises Inc., which is headquartered in Evansville, Indiana. It operates the only United States facility that combines a heavy-media separator with the production of secondary specification aluminum alloys under a single roof. The company processes automobile shredder residue into aluminum alloys and delivers finished castings to diecasters across the Midwest.

Its integrated approach shortens the recycling chain from shredding to finished product, enabling faster delivery to end-use markets. The business serves automotive and other industries by converting shredded vehicle material into specification aluminum alloys for casting applications, working with raw-material and end-use partners. In December 2024, Audubon Metals announced a workforce development collaboration with Navarro College to support part-time study toward a bachelor’s degree for employees.
