Aura Energy Limited is an Australian mining company vehicleing uranium and polymetallic projects across Africa and Europe, with its base in Perth, Western Australia. It is advancing from exploration toward production, focusing on the Tiris Uranium Project in Mauritania as its near-term objective. A 2024 FEED Study and Production Target Update indicate Tiris could become a low-cost uranium operation producing around 2 million pounds per year of U3O8 over a 25-year life, with potential for expansion and exploration upside. The company also wholly owns the Häggån Project in Sweden, which hosts a global-scale resource of vanadium, SOP and uranium. A 2023 Scoping Study projects a 17-year mine life at a production rate of 3.6 Mtpa, using only a portion of the resource. In March 2026, Aura Energy expanded facilities in Mauritania to progress development of the Tiris project.
