Our mission: Austin Clubhouse exists to provide acceptance and empowerment so adults living with mental health diagnoses can pursue personal goals and play a meaningful role as co-workers, colleagues, family members and friends.

Our vision is of a recovery-oriented Central Texas community in which all people living with a mental health diagnosis will achieve their highest potential.

Austin Clubhouse is a place where adults living with mental illness can come together and work towards wellness. Our high impact, recovery-oriented services help members manage their illness and rejoin the worlds of employment and education, and reconnect with family, friends, and community. We provide an accepting place to spend the day, valuable work to perform within the organization, opportunities to develop meaningful relationships, and access to employment, education, and other resources in the Austin area. All Clubhouses are monitored and credentialed by Clubhouse International (formally ICCD). Clubhouse International's mission is to build and coordinate a strong international network of clubhouse model programs, founded on the realization that recovery from serious mental illness must involve the whole person in a vital community offering respect, hope, mutuality, and unlimited opportunity to access the worlds of education, housing, work, and friendship.
