Australian Agricultural Company (AACo) is a major producer of beef and agricultural products. It owns and operates a strategic mix of properties, feedlots, and farms totaling about 7 million hectares across Queensland and the Northern Territory, representing roughly 1% of Australia’s land mass. Founded in 1824, AACo is the oldest continuously operating company in Australia. The company maintains accreditation across multiple quality assurance programs, including LPAQA, EUCAS, NFAS, WQA and MSA, and emphasizes environmentally sensitive land use with its own field rangelands officer. It has expanded into value-added beef through its Branded Beef division. In May 2026 it invested in Sorensis Pty, a Sydney-based startup developing a non-surgical long-term contraceptive implant for use in female cattle.
