The Australian Childhood Foundation is a national not-for-profit organization in the individual and family services sector focused on supporting children and families affected by abuse, family violence and neglect. It is based in Melbourne, Victoria, and serves children, young people, foster carers, families and communities across Australia; in 2026 it opened a new office in Perth, signaling continued expansion in Western Australia after more than two decades of activity there. The foundation works with partners to deliver training and promote child safety practices across communities, including recent initiatives with IFYS and PeakCare. It collaborates with international and national partners such as ISPCAN to advance knowledge sharing and safeguarding in settings ranging from schools to community service providers.
