The Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority (ASADA) is a mid-sized government statutory authority in Australia dedicated to preserving sporting integrity by eliminating doping. It pursues this mission through three core themes - deterrence, detection, and enforcement - delivering education, doping-control testing, advocacy, and coordination of Australia's anti-doping program, alongside investigations and sanctions for breaches. Its work serves the national sports community, including athletes and sporting bodies, by reducing the risk of prohibited practices and supporting fair competition. ASADA operates within the spectator sports sector and is based in Australia. In March 2020 it signed a memorandum of understanding with Anti Doping Danmark (ADD) to enhance education programs, reflecting its emphasis on education as a preventive tool. The agency has also been recognized for innovation in public-sector anti-doping education, receiving the Citizen-Centred Innovation Award in 2019.
