The company’s unique airborne platform permits homeland security professionals the freedom to interact directly with aircraft, generate requested flight routes, specify data to be collected and precisely control the onboard camera sensors. 
Avwatch was founded in 2008 and is comprised of nationally recognized Homeland Security and Department of Defense experts who are well-versed in military, federal, state and local disaster response planning and protocols. Networks have been deployed by the Avwatch team to assist in multiple emergency responses including oil spills, wild fires, search and rescue, hurricanes and flooding. Avwatch provides homeland security professionals and corporations with a low-cost solution capable of conducting routine patrols efficiently and effectively. With its surrogate UAS platform, the company provides Close Air Support training to multiple US military branches prior to overseas deployment. The technology has also been used by multiple law enforcement agencies across the US. Avwatch maintains its headquarters at the Plymouth, MA Municipal Airport and serves a national client base.
