Azimut Yachts designs and builds luxury motor yachts, combining performance with distinctive styling that draws on art and architecture. Based in Avigliana, Piedmont, Italy, the company traces its origins to 1969 when Paolo Vitelli founded Azimut SRL as a sailing boat rental business, yielding early models such as the AZ 43' Bali. The firm aims to set new stylistic and industrial standards and distributes its yachts through a global dealer network.

The company operates in the shipbuilding industry, focusing on luxury motor yachts with a worldwide dealer network. In 2026 it announced notable developments, including the launch of the Seadeck 9 model, Eterna, at its Avigliana shipyard and a partnership with JHSF to offer an exclusive Seadeck fleet for Fasano Al Mare Hotel & Beach Club, with a Sardinia debut planned for summer 2026.
