For 40 years, our superior quality products, leading edge technology, and exceptional customer service have been instrumental in the success of tortilla and snack food manufacturers. Founded in 1977, Azteca Milling is a division of GRUMA (Grupo MASECA), the world’s largest producer of corn masa flour. GRUMA operates internationally with 18 plants in Mexico, 8 plants in Central and South America, 6 plants in the United States and one plant in Italy. 

We manufacture, distribute, and market MASECA® and MASA -MIXTA® corn masa flours, which have set industry standards for quality and consistency in the preparation of taco shells, tostadas, chips, extruded and baked snack foods, as well as other related corn products, such as tamales and taquitos. 

We can provide products in quantities ranging from 50 lbs. bags to tote bags (1,500-2,200 lbs.) for industrial customers or from 2 lb. to 22 lb. bags for retail customers. Our distribution network gives customers quick, customized, and uninterrupted service across the country and around the world.

Azteca Milling’s Quality Assurance Department is committed to using their professional expertise to support our company’s goal of providing only the highest quality products to our customers. Quality Assurance is an integral part of all phases of corn masa flour production, from the earliest phase of collaborating with farmers on seeds and farming methods to continuous product testing to ensure quality.

We are proud of having our state-of-the-art processing equipment and of our certifications achieved. Also, the company has two plants certified to produce organic and non-gmo products. All plants are audited by the new AIB standard, as well as by Kosher and Gluten Free. AMLP plants also produce whole grain flours.
