Baber Environmental Assistance and Remediation LLC will primarily focus on helping the small oil and gas operator. I plan to use my 15 years of environmental compliance experience in the E&P (Devon) and Midstream (DCP Midstream) sectors to provide a comprehensive service that allows small operators to be in compliance. By using my consortium of providers small operators would not require a full time staff to maintain compliance. I can efficiently and effectively assess compliance then, if necessary, manage restoring it. My billing structure gives me incentive to be efficient, do what is necessary, and get on to the next project. In both the Midstream and E&P Sectors air issues take the most attention, followed by SPCC, waste, and remediation.  I have built a solid relationship with the agencies that administer the applicable rules (ODEQ, TCEQ, NMED, WyDEQ, EPA, and DOJ).  For spill management we offer, timely reporting, proper cleanup, and the ability to meet the requirements of the landowner and regulatory agency.  Again the focus of spill management is efficiency and cost reduction.  I will stay up on the many rule changes headed for the E&P sector, positioning my clients for success.   

Prior to owning my own LLC I was the Environmental Compliance Manager for all Devon Energy U.S. operations, who with a staff of 22 managed compliance for water, air, waste, and spill containment for thousands of wells throughout multiple States.  Served as Agency liaison between Devon and State agencies, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) and the United States Department of Justice (USDOJ).

Responsible for EHS performance metrics, analyzing results, and providing guidance to Business Unit Managers to implement effective controls.
