Ballator operates as a specialty underwriting organization, pool administrator, risk retention group, captive insurance company manager or other nontraditional insurance provider.

Ballator was founded in 2007 by a group of proven career insurance professionals who had previously been in senior management positions with publicly traded insurance brokers. Each of the founders identified the benefit of specialization in industry classes and realized that the needs of these classes were not being served by traditional insurance brokers or companies.

Ballator works with A-rated insurance carriers, agents and associations to create innovative insurance products that increase availability, improved pricing and provide superior coverage to those industries we service.
