Baltona is a mid-sized retail company based in Warsaw, with a history spanning nearly eight decades. It began as stores serving sailors and evolved into a network of general and duty-free outlets located at airports and border crossings. Today, Baltona operates both duty-free and general retail stores, as well as local dining venues, at airports in Poland and across Europe, offering travelers access to internationally recognized brands. In its airport-focused model, passengers can purchase perfumes and other duty-free goods and can stop for coffee at Baltona cafes while waiting for their flight.

Baltona serves air travelers and other customers by situating its operations at airports and border crossings, providing convenient access to globally branded products and refreshments. It remains focused on airport retail, combining merchandise sales with on-site cafes. A notable recent development is the November 2024 opening of a new location and a Business Lounge at Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport, signaling an expansion of its airport presence in Poland.
