Banco de Crédito Cooperativo (BCC) is a cooperative banking entity formed by 32 rural savings banks in Spain. It serves as the head organization for the Grupo Cooperativo Cajamar, coordinating its representation before supervisors and markets, while Cajamar operates a nationwide network of offices. It is based in Madrid, in the Community of Madrid, and anchors its activities in Spain's rural financial ecosystem. The BCC and its shareholder rural savings banks focus on financing local productive sectors, cooperatives, and social economy enterprises, with particular emphasis on the agro-food sector in rural areas. In 2022, BCC announced the launch of a hyper-realistic cybersecurity competition for the financial industry.
