A portion of our profits goes to support projects in areas our customers care most about, including providing community customer grants, and helping care for a 2,117 hectare conservation reserve on Wotjobaluk Country in Western Victoria – home to endangered species like the Red-tailed Black Cockatoo. We’ve been around since 1957, when we were the CSIRO Co-operative Credit Society, and have since joined with over 70 other credit unions and co-operatives, becoming Bank Australia in 2015. In July 2025 Qudos Bank and Bank Australia merged to create one of Australia's largest customer-owned banks with over $17.5 billion in assets and branches across NSW, VIC, QLD and ACT.
