Banom® was founded as a family-owned business in 1987. We provide cut-resistant gloves and sleeves to the sheet metal, glass, paper, and food processing industries. We are a manufacturer. We have our own production and are vertically integrated. This gives us complete control and consistency throughout our product line. Banom® was the first manufacturer to make High Tenacity Filaments® commercially available to the industrial market here in the US. We believe that tensile strength is an integral component of cut-resistance. It is needed to stop the force of a cutting edge. For this reason, all Banom® gloves and sleeves are made with high tensile strength continuous filaments: Dynamax®, Fyron® and Abratex®. Banom® is committed to safety and sustainability. Our products and raw materials are independently certified by the Hohenstein Institute for having no harmful substances. That is why we do not need any Prop 65 warning labels on our products. We are bio-fueled with zero emissions, and we recycle over 98% of our chemicals. Our Bantex® reconditioning process is a Clean Green® cleaning method that maintains product safety and integrity, returning product for reuse that is bacteria free and cosmetically acceptable to wear. This results in a reduction in cost and eliminates waste sent to the landfill.
