Barry Bagels was established in Toledo, OH in 1972 as a family-run neighborhood bagel shop. As we enter our 50th year, we are proud to remain family-run with deep community roots in every market that we serve.
 
Barry Greenblatt wanted to bring an authentic bagel to the Toledo area when he started his business. A bagel that was boiled and seeded and baked, not steamed. He wanted to always serve the freshest product, and that meant we would bake bagels in small batches, all day, every day.
 
Those philosophies still drive Barry Bagels today. We only serve the highest quality premium sliced meats and cheeses and our sandwiches are built to order. With several varieties of bagels, meats, sliced and cream cheeses, toppings and condiments, there are an infinite number of combinations. Every location feature salads made from scratch, savory soups and amazing fresh baked cookies. Barry Bagels prides itself on having a substantial catering and wholesale business and to that end, our food is a cherished tradition at holiday gatherings, family celebrations, school cafeterias, coffee shops, and grocery stores. This further weaves our presence into the lives of our friends and neighbors as our food brings our communities together. There is a reason why we have been an established brand for 50 years.
