Within the sports data and analytics industry, BIS positions itself as a provider of advanced baseball analysis and research. The company has expanded its reach through acquisitions and partnerships, notably acquiring Blueprintstats in 2023 and linking with BetVictor to supply data and odds for the Canadian Elite Basketball League. BIS was co-founded by John Dewan, a longtime figure in baseball analytics.
