SMB Resource Baseline is a small to mid-sized environmental consulting firm with a 10M-25M revenue range and a lean team, presenting an opportunity for scalable services, high-touch retainers, and flexible staffing solutions to support workload peaks.

Expanded Service Needs The firm offers diverse environmental services including Phase I/II ESAs, air quality, noise, GHG inventories, and CEQA/NEPA documentation. This breadth invites cross-selling opportunities for integrated environmental impact projects, mitigation planning, and compliance monitoring across transportation, mixed-use, and infrastructure sectors.

Bay Area Footprint With a long-standing presence in the Bay Area and familiarity with Caltrans procedures, Baseline is well-positioned to win transportation, infrastructure, and regulatory-driven projects that require meticulous environmental compliance and legally defensible studies.

Tech-Savvy Ops Utilizing tools like Google Cloud, Sentry, and standard web stacks indicates an openness to digital workflows, data management, and robust project tracking—opportunities exist to offer advanced analytics, reporting automation, and secure data collaboration solutions.

Growth Readiness Revenue scale and client relationships built over 35 years suggest readiness for strategic partnerships, subcontracting, or alliance opportunities with larger firms, joint-bidding on public projects, and scalable staffing models to support larger engagements.
