Founded in 1889 by a group of visionary leaders in Franklin, BGA was created to provide an exceptional education built on scholarship, character, and responsible citizenship. From its earliest years, the school has continually evolved to meet the needs of its students, expanding from its original campus on Columbia Avenue to three campuses today that serve students in pre-K through 12th grade.

What began as a small academy for young men is now Williamson County’s #1 private school, with record enrollment, a 96% retention rate, and a student body equally composed of young men and women who are known, supported, and inspired to lead.
