Our partnership was originally formed in 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio and was known as Stromberg & Associates. In 1952, after reorganization, the firm was renamed Baumgarten, Carpenter, Craig & Ziska. Our current Managing Partner, Allen Wapnick, entered the firm in 1968 and was joined by other current partners, Brian Fialko and Lawrence Yunaska in 1983. David K. Lerner became our firm's newest partner in January, 2005. In 1998, the firm name was shortened to Baumgarten & Company LLP. Our team currently includes a Firm Administrator, 6 Accounting Team Members, 1 Intern (through April 30), and our 4 Partners. Each team member has their own unique skills through many hours of continuing educational training. This allows us to have knowledgeable team members in every facet of the accounting and consulting arenas to meet all of our client's needs. Our mission is to help clients maintain financial viability in the present, while taking a proactive approach to achieve future goals. This requires open communication to reach an understanding of our clients' needs through research and sound analysis.
