George Batten opens his one-room advertising agency. With no clients and one employee. In 1928, the Batten Company merged with Barton, Durstine and Osborn to form BBDO.

Today. In Belgium.

In 1971, a Belgian BBDO office was founded. It merges with the very succesful Van Hees-Vlessing-Lagrillière in 1983. Now BBDO Belgium is a top 3 communication group, which employs 250 professionals.
