BCMI (the Bulk Construction Materials Initiative) provides cloud-based, mobile software for producers for ready-mix concrete, aggregate, Portland cement and hot mix asphalt. BCMI works with leading materials producers to develop the technology they need to improve business processes. BCMI has introduced game-changing solutions including cloud-based ready-mix dispatch, eTicket + eSign, mobile quoting, and ProPilot AI tools. 
 
From a cell phone or tablet, producers can keep an eye on customers’ orders, track plant production, record customer meetings, and check QC data. Their customers have unprecedented access to real-time information about projects and performance, and the ability to place orders and check order statuses without calling a dispatcher. BCMI integrates with a network of technology providers and materials producers to collaboratively define, develop and deliver the next generation of technology for the industry.
Tech Stack & Infrastructure: We operate on AWS, leveraging EC2, Elastic Load Balancers (ELB), RDS (MySQL), S3 and SSL to ensure scalability and security. Our infrastructure is Linux-based, utilizing Nginx for high-performance web serving, RabbitMQ for reliable message brokering, and PHP for backend development. The frontend and additional services are powered by JavaScript.
