Beckerman & Company is a New Jersey-based insurance agency founded in 1989 by Louis Beckerman in Scotch Plains. What began with a single employee grew into a multi-office firm with more than twenty staff and relationships with more than thirty insurance carriers, enabling coverage from personal tenant policies to municipal risk management for School Boards. In 2014, the firm joined Acrisure, forming part of a national network of independent agencies and expanding its range of insurance and risk-management solutions, including Employee Benefits, PEOs, Captives, Voluntary Benefits, and Surety. Through this partnership Beckerman & Company is connected to more than 120 partner agencies across 28 states and a combined workforce of over 3,000 employees nationwide. In February 2018, Beckerman & Company acquired Chicago Digital, a digital marketing agency, in a transaction facilitated by Gould+Partners, expanding services available to clients.
