After ten years of experience in local county government, Peter A. Bee founded the firm in 1980 as a general practice law firm, with a strong emphasis in management-side labor relations.

Following an early association with Richard P. Ready and the addition of various associate attorneys, the firm strengthened its work in labor and employment law, and expanded into commercial litigation, residential and commercial real estate, negligence defense litigation, corporate law and criminal law. During this time, Peter M. Fishbein joined the firm as its Managing Partner, and James R. Hatter and Thomas J. Donovan joined the defense litigation group.

Today, the firm has over twenty attorneys, along with an experienced support staff to provide the highest quality personal service to our clients. To best achieve this, the firm is organized into three primary practice groups: the labor/municipal/employment group, the litigation group, and the real estate group. This “practice group” approach allows the firm’s attorneys to focus on the specific needs of our clients, and allows for “cross-practice” teams to fully meet the needs of our clients.

The firm’s attorneys appear at all levels of state and federal courts with the goal of providing its clients with premium service to achieve desired results.
